Business Analyst


Product Madness, part of Aristocrat Leisure, is a leading social and mobile gaming company with a focus on social casino games. We have published hit titles on Facebook, iOS and Android platforms and have grown considerably in size over the past year. With offices in London and San Francisco, we are currently looking to hire an all­star Business Analyst at our London location to help build and expand our games. The candidate will be working closely with the product and development teams while managing the development queue and meeting the business expectations and deadlines. The successful candidate will have a passion for managing personnel and process, while having an eye for detail and ensuring that the business road map is adhered to.


  • Guide and manage the development process for one or more of our back office systems and marshaling resources in the best way to ensure milestones are met.
  • Be an active participant in feature discussions and road maps, ensuring that the business expectations and time frame are successfully managed.
  • Act as a crucial interface between Marketing/Product and the development teams, translating product requirements into a technical workflow, and developer comments into easy to understand issues.
  • Be able to assess the risks of a project in order to mitigate it where necessary.
  • Able to assess and liaise with 3rd party providers.
  • Flexible to travel.


  • Should have 2/­3 years’ experience working with product managers defining detailed functionality for the development team. Prior experience in social or marketing tools development would be beneficial
  • Previous work experience in a technical role (software development, QA, technical BA)
  • Previous work experience with Marketing systems (email, push, Facebook ads)
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written when explaining new features, functions and flows to the development team and any blockages or issues to the business and product teams in an efficient and fluid manner.
  • Ability to identify business implications from road map discussions and translate this into a development schedule.
  • Prior experience in Agile methodology essential.
  • Prior experience using Jira or similar agile project management tools advantageous.
  • Passion for and knowledge in social/mobile games a plus. Professional work experience in a similar industry an advantage.
